Federal Tax vs. Local government.

I was watching Cavuto today when one of his talking heads. Making the claim that everybody wants to cut federal taxes but will not like the cut in services. His example was to wait until the schools start falling apart like in california. And. He suppose to the smart tv guru...and Neil let him get away with it.
For the record!
1. Everybody knows Crooked trees grows straight california. But never the less the trees are still crooked. And. California government is the straightess government in the country.
2. Our schools are locally funded. They are built by county, state bonds. They are paid for by county taxes. They are operated by county taxes. So, we could cut at federal taxes...and our schools would be just fine.
3. They also mentions utilities. Here again....there is nothing federal other than the taxes they collect....the utilities are all local and ran by our hard earn money and local taxes.
4. Police...local...no federal taxes used.
5. Firemen... local...no federal taxes used.
6. Military...hey...they are federal...the only good program in the sense that the expenditures make sense.
7 Social Security...federal...good
8. Medicare...federal...good
9. Post office...federal...but until just recently always been self funded and in fact...the government use to regularly rob their retirement and assets to pay for their the congressmen wage increases.
10. The other 60 percent of federal taxes...are ....are wasted on made up bullshit. Does it help any .....a single one industry sector...the answer is no...unless you include the government employee sector.
