Honesty-its the bare minium requirements for Prez.

From Romney's table sitting Mom, Clinton's planted questions, O'Bama's questionable land deal, Clinton's Mr. Hai, or even the first Clinton foreign dollars campaign donations, etc., the questions arizes as to what do these matters. I don't mean to hold these Prez's and Prez hopeful's to a higher standard, but they where caught pretty much open handly. I am sure others running are guilty of not so honest behavior. Yet. The question remains: Why is it important that a Prez hopeful maintain even higher appearence of Honesty?

The somber fact is that one individual will be dealing with nobles of our allies, leaders of such countries as Russia or maybe so to be USSR again, China, France, etc. and even worst countries of such evil ilk as Iran, Korea, etc. Even with out the facts, one must want its leaders to present us a Honest country that they can count on in our behavior.

To me there is nothing more frightening(not even Iran fuel Nuclear missles) than we having an under handed double dealing president. I want a president that can get up on the UN floor and have people take what he says as the view of the American people and something they can count on good or bad.

I was a Bush backer, but nothing disturbed me more than the mess up on Mass distruction thing and the Hamas be elected by its people and we not recognizing them as the leaders. Not only was the Hamas election a perfect chance to extend an olive branch; it went against everything WE(AMERICA) stand for, and our for fathers, our kids, and we have fought so diligently for, regardless the sour taste it would have left in our mouth.

So, to those that say, oh that was just a minor breach of honesty, I say Phooey.
This is not naive thought, either. I fully expect that there will be times, although very few, a president cant be honest. But...and this is a Big But...It should be very uncomfortable for the prez to do so.
