Taxes and spending cuts will not solve our problems

If America's problem is like a cold then:
Taxes and spending cuts are like a Placebo and masking the coughing.

It will not solve our problems.. Although our polo heads would like us to believe other wise.

Our problems other than mis-management of government is:

1. Taxes stop enterprise. (Company will not expand jobs in face of unknown taxes)
2. Revenue cuts will only cut....government expenditures....(but will not create jobs)
3. The White Elephant: Over regulation. As Russia faced in the 90's America now face. Bear Sterns was a viable ongoing business that was taken down by the government. There is alot of reason to start a new business. But he number one driving factor is to get rid of the boss: period. It makes no sense to fire your boss...to take on multi-head government and dysfunctional government at best as your boss.

So, what ever happens today...it will not solve a thing.. But is will look like a band aid....
