What happened to America
Once upon a time there were two great communicators as president. The first being Reagan and 2nd being Clinton. Both presidents sold us on the idea that they could not do good by Americans because neither power had well....power. Then the Reconcilliation act that was enacted in the dark of the night in the interest of getting budgets passed. However, without even one American voting on it outside the congressional hall, America right to vote was marginalized by a stroke of a pen. For example, Because of the constitution the senate required 60 majority. Thusly each American's vote was equal to at the very least 60/40 ratio on every vote that passed. After the dark of the night reconcilliation act it became something less that 60/40 ratio. Fast forward to Bush/Obama. Both enjoyed a super majority in the senate. And looking back both parties abused the reconcilliation act.
What did we do.
Looking ahead to november, because of reconcilation, the only way americans can be represented is to give the party opposite of the president the majority, but never again can americans give away a super majority to either party. As long as reconcilation can be abused and used outside the original parameters of budgeting, Americans must .....I repeat....must make sure the presidential party never have a supermajority and the party out of favor as well.
It is a sad state of constitutional flux but until we have the supreme court hearing on the legality of this rule; we have a war with the congressional bodies..
As both the Obama and the Bush administration has proved...abolute power in a democracy breeds corruption as fast or faster any dictatorship.
So, the wise will dedicate their vote to neither party, but to maintain their constitutional voting powers.
