The problem with Snowe is not that she voted against her party wishes. I would stand up for her gumption. No, its that she did it before the vote...and in a committee vote. Its an endorsement and more to a point, its probably, if you follow my thought process, done under duress. Here is what I think.
I think the powerheads has something on Olympia, that the republicans do not know, and as in the cap n trade bill, they used it. If one is going to vote against a party wishes, then they would last to the very last moment to avoid hurting the party. The way this was done does directly hurt the party. Because now they have to out her from the party. If they do not...then my thinkings indicates she has something on the republican party heads. So, its they got me on a puppet string, but I have you on mine own string.
