You heard of the phrase "Playing the Race card."
Obama just played the guilt card.
It is how he won the nomination for the democratic party. Because Bill fell for statements like this hook, line and sinker.
The -"Oh, Did I tell you he was Black" is an offensive statement not an defensive statement. The are playing the guilt card and this speech was the first salvo fired across America's bow.
Beware McCain, Ask Bill?
The "Oh, Did I tell you he was Black" speech is a shameless ploy, albeit subtle, to guilt America to vote for a black man. How. By implying that if you do not vote for him then you are a racist.
Never mind voting for him, because of his creditability, his positions, or even believing he is really an agent of change. Vote for him because he is black and if you don't then you are a racist, be label a racist.
I being an independent, that ran from the democratic party in the seventies because of their underhandness, which turn to the republicans because of reagan, and run from them because they completely abandon the middle class was not sure how I was going to vote this election.
Granted I was leaning for McCain, but not very trusting of the wacky right wingers that dominate that party. Only remotely considering OBama...because I believe him to be a Kennedy Lap dog on a short leash. Pushing for an independent, a white in shining armour, canidate for the middle class have decided to actively be anti Obama. Not because he is black, but because I will not be made to feel guilty voting on the race issue.
Let it be known that on the day of the "Oh, Did I tell you he was Black" speech Obama played the Race Card and the Guilt card. I feel sorry those who will vote for him simply because they do not want to be viewed as being a racist. I feel sorry for those democrats who did vote for him in the primary and now want to take thier vote back, because they were guilted into it.
The problem is that its so hard to counteract the first time out of the gate on this guilt card thing. America will elect him for no other reason other than not wanting to be label as a racist. That is the good thing, the bad thing is exactly what type of person would do such a thing and who are we electing really. Which as always leads me to my next statement.
Vote America first, vote independent.
