Enough: Congressional protection or activitism

ENOUGH

Reid is keeping the congress on the books during the holidays. 1. How much does it cost us. 2. Is it really to protect against recess appointments. 3. Or. is it some underhand way to slip something under the radar.

More importantly what is to stop the repuplicans from showing up at congresss door and quick ram a super stupid bill in place. Of Course, the cost that is envolved is the major concern. Which brings about the most important point. Exactly what does 2.5 trillion buy. A good military defense...eh...ok. SS and medicare...and medicade...eh...ok...justice...ok Unemployment protection...eh...ok... Which accounts for about 1.8 of the 2.8 trillion dollars. Getting side track I have to ask Doesnt 1.8 trillion seem tad bit to expensive for the end results.
Getting back on track...It is the last 1 trillion dollars that seems to provide a whole lot of fluff and a little stuff.

So, yea, maybe it seems to be nick picking the cost it will take to keep congress open over the holiday. But darn it, we are paying a whole lot of people, to do nothing. I mean the sole purpose of keeping the staffers and other crap that is required to keep congress open, is to prevent governance, to stop action, to freeze or stagnate the progress of our government, good or bad.

Which goes a long way that congress is out of touch with reality, and us.

Vote independent for better governance.
