Leadership vs. greediership
Yesterdays view into Iraq, thanks to your congressional and senators, provided no solutions, no insight, and well no leadership on our problem. You can bet that it provided insight to our enemy's spys.
So, what is the point. The point is that things are not going the way we want. The point is that the military, and I emphasize military(because no one else is), is trying to fix the problems. The point is that inspite of a great military this war is being fought out on the congress floor. Finally, yep we are beating our selfs. There is absolutely no way that the hearing should have been held in the public. Lastly, because this is a crucial war, or any war, and should be planned, changed, implemented, and on bad days fixed, behind the doors of washington.
It has been claimed that the war was started on less than honest terms. Which is true or not true, and most importantly not revelant to today problems. I think most sensible people would agree that, other than the grandstanders, most people participating in these hearing are geniune. So, then why hang our dirty laundry in the wind for everybody to smell. Only one reason. Political gain. Or. America's knows we(the respected partys) are being horses asses and lets put on a show so they will think we are trying ..........................well to do something ............we want them to believe we are trying to change.
So, we are were we are at, and that is as it was and non responsive, not responsible government.
As with their pretty faces they put up for president, its not about leadership but the party. The truth of the matter is because they both (party) represent the rich, pity the poor, and give lip service to the middle class it does not matter who we vote for this election. Simply put: A vote for Giuliani is a vote for Obama which is a vote for Thompson which is a vote for Clinton which is a vote for Romney which is a vote for Biden or McCain, which is, etc. Where is the leadership.
It is behind close doors, or do you really believe that middle class people like me and you donated mega and mega and mega millions these people have been given to run. Its been the George Soros types that are giving the money. Or should we really believe Mr. hsai is really a pimple on a smooth faced teenager.
Finally, the point is that for the middle class to have real representation, real change, we must vote independent. We have no other choice, mainly because the overwhelming evidence of greediership over leadership.
